Suicide Methods

Some of the tops ways of committing suicide are by firearms, suffocation, poisoning, cutting, stabbing, and falling/jumping.

There are many methods of killing one's self. None of them are by any means easy.

Many survivors claim that after they had attempted, they wished they hadn't. One example is someone had taken an overdosing amount of pills. After a few minutes they regretted their decision and tried to vomit, but wasn't able. Fortunately they survived, but many suicide techniques do not offer forgiveness once you begin the process.

How to Commit Suicide Painlessly

The idea of committing suicide without pain has come across people's minds all throughout history, including me. I have had the thought while driving many times, "why don't I just swerve into that tree and kill myself." I never did because of a thought that tormented me more than the torment itself. The thought was "what if hell is real and my suffering becomes even worse, but for eternity." This was the reason I never did.

Some of the ways I thought about killing myself without pain and easiest for my family to deal with:

  • Bullet to the head

  • Poison

  • Overdoes on pills

  • Car accident

  • Jumping off a tall platform

The Problem With These Methods

  • They are not truly easy

  • They are not truly painless

  • They are not truly clean

  • They are not the most painless way to kill yourself

There is an alternative solution to these suicide methods

The Alternative Suicide Method

How to kill yourself painlessly

What do you mean die to myself?

The main reason people kill themselves is that they have not yet died to themselves.

You may feel dead inside, but you are not dead.

You are living a life that is not real. It's fake. The majority of your thoughts are fake. They are not truly yours. People think the thoughts they have about themselves are what make them who they are.

This is true

and

False

It's True because your thoughts are what drive you.

Your thoughts are what makes you:

  • Think and feel about yourself

  • Think and feel about others

  • Think and feel about the world

  • Do what you do or don't want to do

  • Perform the actions you take

  • Kill yourself

It's False because your thoughts aren't always the ONLY truth

The thoughts are not the only truth about:

  • You are not good enough

  • You're worthless

  • You're better off dead

  • Nobody likes you

  • You've wrecked it all

  • You're broken

  • Fill in the blank

You might feel that your thoughts are true, but where did you get them?

Are they the only truth?

Are there other alternatives?

These thoughts and feelings are lies. They are not the only truth. They may be one truth in some cases, but not all.

How do I Die to Myself?

You can get set free from yourself by dying to yourself.

You have the option to live for yourself and die for yourself.

OR

You have the option to live for your creator and die to yourself.

I am sure you have thought about heaven and hell.

You may have come to the conclusion that God is not real and those places do not exist.

You may have even thought that they are real but either option would be better than how you are living now, so you might as well hurry up and get to the destination.

One thing you should know.

GOD IS REAL

I have experienced Him myself.

I am a suicide survivor. He set me free and completely changed me and my family's lives.

I attempted suicide several times throughout my life.

I even tried when I was 10 years old by making my own poison and drinking it.

As an adult I always took risks that could have ended in my death.

After developing PTSD from my deployments to Iraq my life started to spiral out of control.

I eventually came to a breaking point.

I learned about heaven and hell and would have killed myself if I didn't believe I would go to Hell.

So I cried out to God and said "I wrecked my life, so you can have it."

I gave my life to Jesus and rededicated myself to Him. I died to myself and gave what I thought was a worthless life, to Jesus.

I didn't notice a change immediately, but by the second and third day, I had this peace that I couldn't explain. All of my troubles seemed to fade away. They were still there, but I had this peace and confidence that everything was going to be okay.

God healed me and my family and now I am okay. I am better than that. Now I am thriving in life. All because I chose to die to myself and give my life back to Jesus.

Prayer

Have you Ever Said a Prayer like this?

Romans 10:9-10 says " that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

Say this prayer with me and find peace just like I did.

God, I believe you exist. I believe You sent your Son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. I believe He died for me and that He rose from the grave and still lives today.

I wrecked my life, so You can have it. I believe in You and choose to serve You. Please deliver me from the thoughts that haunt me and give me peace. Baptize me in Your Holy Spirit. Please forgive me of my sins and lead me to where You want me to go.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Now that you said that prayer you can expect your life to change. Go find yourself a Bible and start reading in the book of John. Read the new testament before you read the old testament so it doesn't confuse you. Everything is there for a purpose and will make sense the more you read and grow as a believer in Jesus.

Know that everything will be okay.

God loves you and I love you.

Get ready for an adventure you never thought would be possible...

Prayer for Fear, Anxiety, etc.

If you struggle with fear, anxiety, depression, or any other similar issue, I have a prayer that has helped many people, including me.

Say this only if you said the one above. It will work if you have faith in God. You need to make sure you don't believe the lies the enemy gives you after this. And fill your life with the things of the Lord so the symptoms don't come back and get even worse (I have seen crazy things happen to people because all this is very real). Read Matthew 12:43-45 to learn more.

Jesus, I believe you can do anything. I confess all the fear, anxiety, depression, wanting to die, PTSD, _____( include additional issues here) and I give them all to you.

I take authority in Jesus Christ right now and command all enemies of Christ to leave me right now. All fear, anxiety, depression, suicide, death, PTSD, _____( include additional issues here), leave me right now in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ.

God, please heal and deliver me right now. I believe you can right now.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

If you feel something happening or moving in your body, but haven't felt a "release"/"weight" that lifted off, or something leaves you, then say the prayer again and use your voice in authority, because Jesus gave it to you when you became born again.

Some people feel it and others don't. Don't be concerned if you didn't. Time (a few days) will tell if these things have left you. If not, then say it again. Jesus once prayed for a blind man twice before he was fully better. It may take you a few times.

Please check out the resources on our Christian Blog and find others to further develop your new relationship with Jesus. This is not like your normal religion... This is real Christianity that most of the world has missed. Read the Bible and find true non-hypocrite Christians that know what they are talking about. This is where you will find true change.

Support for individuals who have been bereaved by suicide is crucial during such a challenging time. There are various avenues of assistance available to those in need. One important aspect is the development of a Safety Plan, which outlines proactive steps and identifies potential sources of support during moments of crisis. Creating a Safety Plan involves collaborating with someone close to the individual or a professional involved in their care. This process facilitates open discussions about what to include in the plan, considering past experiences of what has or has not been helpful. Additionally, conversations are centered around the storage and sharing of the plan with trusted individuals.

Another practical measure is to ensure that important contacts and resources are easily accessible. For instance, storing crucial numbers in a phone can provide quick access to supportive friends, family, or helplines. Moreover, there is a wide range of external support available for those who have been bereaved by suicide. This may include professional counseling or therapy services, such as bereavement support groups or grief counseling. These resources offer a safe space for individuals to express their emotions, share experiences, and gain comfort from others who have gone through similar circumstances.

In addition to therapy and counseling, it is important to explore the various avenues of community support. Many organizations specialize in providing assistance specifically to those affected by suicide bereavement. These organizations often offer helplines, online forums, and support groups where individuals can connect with others who have had similar experiences. They provide a compassionate and understanding environment that encourages healing and resilience. Furthermore, these organizations can provide valuable information about additional resources, educational materials, and workshops that may be beneficial.

It is crucial to remember that support can be tailored to individual needs, and different approaches work for different people. Therefore, seeking out primary care providers, mental health professionals, or organizations specializing in suicide bereavement can help identify the most suitable support options. Building a strong support network and having a Safety Plan in place can provide important layers of assistance for those who have been bereaved by suicide.
